Finals:

 R1 Esk: August 16, 2009

In Round 1 of the tour there were 7 competitors fighting for 4 spots. Graeme McCurdy the current Seniors championstarted things off with a 265.0m. Julian Conlan followed with 253.0m but both of these distances the guys knew wouldn't survive. Anthony Donovan then "upped the ante" with 282.23m to take the lead. With only 4 players remaining it was still going to be a tough call to see if this distance would get him through. In the end it wasn't Jason Atkins next up blasted one 301.8m to ensure his place in the final. He was followed by Brendan Moylan 293.7m, Nathaniel Barnes295.7m and Brent Kearney with a massive 321.2m. These last top 4 seeded competitors all made it through.

Semi final 1 had Breandan Moylan up against Brent Kearney. Brent Kearney took an early lead with 325.0m. Brendan hit some incredible shots but fell just a few metres short with 322.0m

Semi final 2 had Nathaniel Barnes up against Jason Atkins. In an exciting final where the lead swapped a few times Nathaniel took the lead with his second last ball of 290.0m. Atkins immediately fought back and hit his winning ball 307.0m.

This had Jason Atkins and Brent Kearney in the final. In what was some of the biggest hits of the day both players hit some massive drives. Brent's first ball was the longest ball of the day with 335.0m. Jason then hit the second longest ball of the day with 330.0m but couldn't quite take the lead from Brent. Congratulations to all the competitors.
